Like most drummers I started early graduating from banging on Mom’s pots and pans to a real kit at the age of 6 or 7 or so. My first band gig was at wedding when I was in the 8th grade; well we made $5.00 and played a few songs for the grownups that is….  Once a little more grown I went on to play with New Jersey bands Blackmore Castle and Woodsiege.

In 1972 I moved to Atlanta attending Peachtree High School . I joined the High School concert, jazz and marching bands and started several rock bands (Edge and Coldstream); also during this time I was performing with the Atlanta Jazz Band. Also I played with several other bands and got a small taste of working in a recording studio.  In the late 70's after declining acceptance to Peabody in Nashville to study music I decided to step back from music and take a business career path.

In the middle 1980’s I decided to return to music studying and practicing to once again try to carry on his desire to play.  Later, I actively sought out musicians to kick start my passion for playing out once again.  "Life is just too short, you have to listen to your heart, follow your passions and make it all part of your life!

It has been a great time, playing great places like: Limerick Junction, Front Page News, Blind Willies, The StarBar, The Earl, Smith’s Olde Bar, Ten High, Lenny’s, Maddy's Ribs & Blues Joint, Fat Matt's Rib Shack, Mulligan’s, Vinyl (Emergenza), Jake's Toadhouse, Club 29, Dillions in Lawrenceville, Tony's Sports Bar & Grill in  Duluth- Anthony's in Buford, The Boiler Room in Gainesville, QC's in Conyers, Several of the Dos Copas bars, The Tavern in Duluth, Vinings Inn, The Hummingbird in Macon, The Loft in Columbus, Cander Park Fall Festival  2006  and the 99x Oktoberfest VA Highlands.
